Education: Diploma of Kharkov Agricultural Institute, Faculty of Plant Protection (1965). PhD course (1975-1978), Kharkov Agricultural Institute. PhD in Biology (1978), defended in Institute of Zoology, Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
Work experience: 1973-2001, senior reseacher, Department of Immunology and Plant Protection, Yuriev\'s Plant Breeding Research Institute, Ukrainian Agricultural Academy of Sciences, Kharkov.
Research interests:
- Ecologisation and management of the agricultural systems of legume crops.
- Development of methods of evaluation of complex resistance of legume crops to pests and diseases.
- Monitoring and prediction of distribution of pests and diseases of the legume crops.
- Selection of resistant to phytophagous insects lines of legume crops.
- Biological control of the agricultural systems of legume crops.
Research achievements: author of 10 new sorts of pea and soybean, 120 new lines, resistant to phytophagous insects, and author of 160 publications.
